The posiition is for a leading telecom infrastructure Co. which employs 25,000 employees as a Group.

JOB POSITION Head Acquisition (Corporate)

QUALIFICATION Graduate / Chartered Surveyor or Real Estate Professional;Recognised membership of Professional Institution
EXPERIENCE-(In years) 10 -15 years
AGE bracket 32 – 45 years
Additional Knowledge Requirement

ROLE
1. To acquire sites for BTS deployment within program timescalesRESPONSIBILITIES :1. Primarily responsible for Site Acquisition, Municipal / Panchayat Approvals, EB Connections and Structural / Soil Testing Reports
2. Accountable for the acquisition process in all circles of operation
3. Act as company expert in resolving acquisition issues
4. Provide direction to the circle acquisition teams
5. Establish forecast plans for acquisition on a 3-month rolling basis.
6. Manage delivery of plans to program timelines
7. Ensure acquisition delivery by the circle team
8. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management
9. Identify and communicate risks to the program team
10. Identify risks and issues affecting program delivery
11. Generate reports for presentation to the Program Steering Board
12. Act in the company’s interests in dealing with acquisition issues
13. Vetting of site documents submitted by circles.
14. Ensure maintenance of Management Information System for all the sites at
circle and corporate
15. Recruitment of Acquisition specialists in support of expanding organisation
16. Ensure adherence to all program process and procedures by the Circle
acquisition teams
17. Professional development of acquisition specialists
18. Ensure proper handover of sites to projects and smooth completion of the
project.
