Vice President - Sales

A reputed Co. into Corporate training and Software development is looking for

Position: Vice President (Sales)
Number of vacancies:1
Indicative salary range: 15 L to 20 L p.a.
  

Primary responsibility will be to accelerate sales and handle sales function independently.

Tasks

·                     Complete and independent handling of the sales function.
·                     Handling a team of about 7-8 Sales Managers.
·                     Break through new clients
·                     Forge new alliances with major software product companies (for training partnerships) and educational institutes (for offering training programs for them)
·                     Improve sales realization
·                     Pricing strategies
·                     Build new verticals, such as retail training, academic institutions, e-Learning, virtual
·                     classroom, etc.
·                     Position the Co. as a learning consultancy organization, as a way of higher
·                     value-add services
·                     Preparation of sales and marketing budget
·                     Relationship building with key customers, including periodic visits to them
Education Background
MBA

Experience

·         10 years or more of experience in the sales function, preferably a major part of which should be in the IT industry.
·         Should have independently managed the sales function with a team of about 7-8 people.

Personal Characteristics:
Aggressive, Ability to handle team, leadership skills, Excellent Communication skills, Relationship Building Skills, Influential person.
